No worries, this happened to all of us ;) You can simply take a new inne strip and retake the test.
The collector pad becomes heavier and more sensitive when wet. Bending the plastic or applying pressure to the pad can make it fall out. However, this can easily be avoided with the following tips:
- Avoid biting or sucking on the collector pad. This might also compress the fibres, which can reduce the overall absorption capacity of the pad.
- Avoid applying too much pressure on the collector pad with your tongue and palate which could push it out of the collector. Rather allow it to expand freely as it absorbs saliva, like a little sponge.
- Avoid flicking, bumping or bending the inne strip collector when the absorbent pad is wet. You can open the lid of the inne strip before you start collecting, so all you need to do once the pad is fully soaked is folding in the collector and closing the strip.
