The inne Minilab helps you to track your progesterone levels over the course of your cycle. Based on a characteristic increase in the hormone, it recognizes ovulation and thus determines your fertile window.
Ovulation marks the start of the luteal phase, the last phase of your cycle. During this time, progesterone levels normally remain elevated.
Of course, there are also minor fluctuations from day to day, but overall the hormone levels are
significantly higher than in the follicular phase.
What happens at the end of the luteal phase?
If no fertilization has taken place during your fertile window, the progesterone level typically drops again. It then reaches levels similar to those in the follicular phase, which heralds the start of a new cycle.
What happens if I get a positive pregnancy test?
If you assume you are pregnant, you can continue to measure your levels with leftover progesterone strips. A persistently high progesterone level is a possible sign of pregnancy.
You can document the results of your pregnancy test in the inne app under 'Symptoms & events'. If you enter a positive pregnancy test, you will no longer see a period forecast in the inne app for the time being and you can switch to 'Track pregnancy' mode.
If you want to continue tracking your progesterone levels and need additional strips for this, you can contact us at any time (support@inne.io). We will be happy to send you a refill with the same LOT as part of your subscription so that you can continue measuring seamlessly.
