You may have already noticed the LOT number on the back of your inne strip pouches.
Like many other products, our strips are produced in continuous batches (LOTs), which means that your next monthly refill will usually contain a newer LOT number already.
Why is this important to know?
For the inne Minilab to give you the most accurate results, it is important that you only use strips from the same LOT number within one cycle. If, by mistake, you start using strips from a different LOT during your cycle, the measurement will be stopped by your reader.
Despite strict quality standards during the production of our strips, there may be minimal changes from LOT to LOT.
We want to ensure that your measurements and fertility predictions are not affected by these changes and that you can fully rely on your results with inne.
How inne guides you to use the same LOT throughout a cycle
We ensure you always receive 24 strips from the same LOT within your monthly refill so that you can use one monthly strip supply per cycle.
Tip: You can easily adjust the date of your monthly delivery to match your cycle rhythm. Tap your profile icon in the inne app and select 'inne Strip plan' => 'status, shipping & billing'.
Starting a New Cycle
When you start a new cycle by logging your period in the inne app, the LOT for this cycle is not yet set and you will not see any LOT number on your daily tracker in the inne app.
Your next successful measurement determines the LOT for the new cycle
With your first successful measurement in the new cycle, the LOT number of the strip you used will set the LOT for the entire cycle. You’ll receive a notification in your app and see the LOT number on your daily tracker throughout the cycle.
I did my first measurement with a LOT that I don't have enough strips of anymore - What should I do?
Remember that you need between 20 and 22 strips for your 'important measurements' throughout the cycle.
If you started measuring with a LOT that you don't have enough strips of, please contact us at support@inne.io or through the inne app's settings => help & support section. We will find the best possible solution for you by either adjusting the LOT set for your cycle or sending you additional strips from the matching LOT.
What if my period and new cycle start on a day when I already have a measurement?
No need to worry — if you log your period after you took the day's measurement already, it won’t affect the LOT for your new cycle, and you won't see a LOT number on your daily tracker yet.
Simply take your next measurement with a LOT that you have enough strips of for the entire cycle.
What if I use a different LOT than shown in my daily tracker?
If you accidentally use a strip from a different LOT during an ongoing cycle, the measurement will be stopped. You will receive a notification to repeat the test with a strip from the correct LOT as shown in your daily tracker.
What if I don’t have enough strips from the LOT that is shown in my daily tracker?
In case you find that you don't have sufficient strips from the same LOT for all 'important measurements' of your cycle, please contact us at support@inne.io or through the inne app's settings => help & support section. Our support team is here for you and will provide you with additional strips of your current LOT.
