Your inne reader and app can perfectly communicate via Bluetooth, but establishing a WiFi connection is a great idea.
It allows you to move around freely with your phone or even leave the house while your measurement is in progress. Furthermore, you will receive the latest firmware updates for your inne reader automatically.
If you're experiencing trouble setting up Wi-Fi, here's what you can try:
1. Check if your Wi-Fi router operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency. The alternative 5 GHz frequency is currently not compatible with the inne reader. Most modern routers work on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
2. Make sure to choose an appropriate Wi-Fi network. The inne reader can only connect to secure networks, not open Wi-Fi hot spots.
3. Check the possible error messages and recommendations below.
Your network name (up to 32 characters) or password (up to 64 characters) is invalid.
Please check that your network name and password are correct and do not extend the indicated character count.
Incorrect password or Wi-Fi connection issue. Please check and try again.
Double-check your password. Make sure that your router is turned on and connected to the internet. You may restart the router if needed.
Unable to connect to the inne server. Please try again later.
That's on us! We are facing some technical issues and kindly ask for your patience. Please try to connect to WiFi later and rest assured that your inne reader and app are safely connected via Bluetooth in the meantime.
