The inne App invites you to track your cervical fluids on a daily basis - why is this important?
inne needs to know when you start a new cycle to understand your cycle length and reliably predict your fertile window. That's why it is crucial to track your period in the inne App.
You forgot to log your period? No problem :) Simply swipe the progesterone graph to go back and select the first day of your latest cycle, tap 'track your fluids' and choose 'period'. That's it!
Please note that 'spotting' is not considered as period bleeding. If you log 'spotting', inne won't start a new cycle, but assume that you have light, inter-menstrual bleeding in your current cycle.
Why should I keep tracking after my period?
While inne's prediction of your fertile window is based on your progesterone levels, we cannot emphasise enough the benefits of tracking your cervical fluids!
Your fluids can serve as an additional reference point for where you're at in your cycle, but at the same time, they are a wonderful sign of your health and fertility! You may discover more about your body and its unique rhythm than you would have expected - did someone say 'radical self-knowledge' ? ;)
If you feel hesitant or are not quite sure what you are looking for, we highly recommend reading 'The Wonders of Our Cervical Fluid' by Bethany Burgoyne on our radical self-knowledge blog!
